psychological tests accurately describe the client?
Is the attorney prepared to make the best argument?
Nationally-renowned speakers teach
the techniques of proper voir dire and cross examination of behavioral science
experts.
Psychlaw.net seminars focus on
issues related to expert testimony and Daubert v. Merrill Dow Pharmaceuticals,
509 U.S. 579 (1993), General Electric Co. v. Joiner, 522 U.S. 136 (1997),
and Kumho Tire v. Carmichael, 526 U.S. 137 (1999).
Psychlaw.net seminars also
teach effective use of Daubert, Joiner and Kumho reliability and validity
concerns.
Our faculty have developed five
one-day Psychlaw.net seminars, and several one-hour Psychlaw.net seminars, to
provide judges and litigators with the information, voir dire and the
cross-examination techniques to overcome all but the most legitimately
qualified, careful and conscientious behavioral science testimony.
Psychlaw.net
seminars are designed to equip judges and litigators with the information and
data necessary to support effective voir dire and cross-examination of
behavioral science experts. The voir dire and cross- examination techniques with
which to use these resources effectively are covered in each seminar. Our
faculty teach judges and litigators how to disqualify hostile “experts” and how
to impeach their inadequate work.
